Help Text: ' This version of FzzPlot is like version 3.95 in very few ways. It still has many of the same features as 3.95, but the following changes have been made:
ΓÇó Version 3.95 used standard Pascal I/O calls to read datafiles. This version uses Macintosh file-system calls to read data into memory, then processes text files in memory. The result is a major increase in the speed of loading data.
ΓÇó This version of FzzPlot uses a completely new structure to store information. The result is a significant increase in the efficiency of calculation, graph drawing, and printing operations.
ΓÇó You can now save a complete plot in a binary format; when such files are re-loaded, the loading is almost instantaneous, and the state of the plot (formats, axis titles, and so forth) is restored. It's also possible to open binary files from the Finder for plotting or printing.
ΓÇó FzzPlot completely supports copying a plot to the Clipboard, or pasting text data from the clipboard.
ΓÇó FzzPlot is much more relaxed about the contents of a textfile. You can have blank lines, comments, or other extraneous material intermixed with your plot data; FzzPlot will ignore blank lines or any line that doesn't begin with a space, digit (0-9), tab, or sign (+ or -).
• It's not necessary to wait for a graph to be redrawn before performing another action. This is especially handy when plotting large datafiles.
• Error bars are now properly drawn and scaled, both for linear and log plots.
ΓÇó The point markers have been changed for greater accuracy, and an option has been added to remove them (for drawing simple line graphs, if desired).
ΓÇó The bars for column plots are now gray instead of black.
ΓÇó A Help facility has been added.
• Many bugs (small and large) in the user interface have been fixed, as have some nasty printing bugs.'
